Ideal for family breaks or retreats by the coast with friends, this 3-bedroom house will provide the perfect base whilst exploring North Yorkshire.The Space:Ideal for socialising, 5 Hoggarths Yard has an open plan space on the ground floor which includes the kitchen, living and dining area. With grey high shine cabinets and white worktops, the kitchen is both stylish and practical. You'll have everything you need for a self-catering stay as the kitchen is fully equipped.The dining area includes a wooden dining table and matching chairs. Ideally located by the kitchen, you can easily communicate with the rest of your party as you prepare and serve meals. The L shape ground floor space also includes the living area. With a brown leather Chesterfield sofa and armchair, you can cosy up with your loved ones in front of the huge flat screen TV and enjoy a night in. The space is also complete with a wooden trunk and a checked rug. Outside you'll find an enclosed patio area. This cosy space includes a seating area and charming nautical decorations. Upstairs on the first floor, you'll find three bedrooms and the family bathroom.Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.Guest Access:Guests have access to the full property. There you'll find narrow, medieval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and fish restaurants. You can climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker's gothic novel 'Dracula'. On the other side of the River Esk, you'll come across cosy pubs, fun arcades and even more fish restaurants on Pier Road. Venture along the lively road and you'll reach the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach which is lined with idyllic beach huts.Getting Around:The centre of Whitby is a short ten-minute walk from 5 Hoggarths Yard. Whitby train station is less than 15-minutes away on foot so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail.
