Summary: Overall, a mixed experience at this cabin. The location on Lake Bomoseen is convenient and easy to find. The host provided bed linens and towels which was also convenient. The check-in and check-out process was easy. The cabin was tidy when we arrived but moderately clean. The condition of the yard was okay but we found old nails in the area around the fire pit, the steps to the dock were dodgy and not entirely safe for our 3yr old nephew, and the lifejackets for kayaking were falling apart and not useable. We were also frustrated at times to be communicating with a remote company and not a direct homeowner who could specifically answer our questions. We have stayed at other similarly-priced cabins on Lake Bomoseen in the past and we would recommend, or return to, those cabins instead of this cabin in the future.
