Positive: I booked the cabin and was a bit nervous as I did not know what to expect, for the cabin was marked as 3* accommodation on Booking. com. But it exceeded my and my family's expectations inside and outside! It all appeared to be new, very clean, and with tastefully added details. The cabin was warm with efficient floor heating (every room and the bathroom has its own temperature control!), spacious and modern. The sleeping block is separated by a door from the lounge for additional quiet and privacy. In the kitchen everything was new and working impeccably, and there was more than enough room to cook and serve food (even a nice set of dining plates; one could host a festive dinner :)). One of the bedrooms had a desk, which my son really appreciated as he had to bring his school work and computer with him. There were enough towels in the bathroom, and the toilet paper, shampoos, shower gel, kitchen paper, dishwasher tablets, sponges etc. were all provided, and we just replaced what we finished up. A bottle of red wine was waiting for us on the table! The surroundings were beautiful, peaceful, with miles to walk on the bank of the frozen river. We had a dog with us, so having somewhere to walk in the winter was great. The grocery shop is in nearby Duvet (a vet too if one needs it), and driving to Åre was very easy, almost in a straight line (after joining the main road). The host was easy to reach at any point (thank you very much for that!), and was very responsive and easy to make additional agreements with (he approved our earlier check-in, and provided firewood as we had a guest from a warmer climate with us and had worried she might find it cold inside, but she did not). He even accepted us back for one more night after our son had a serious ski accident and was in the hospital in Ostersund for a day. We think that gesture said a lot about the host(s)! We were glad to have chosen this place for our (Easter) holiday.
