It is only 300 metres to the Teutoburger Forest and 300 metres to the village centre. The house is surrounded by many further single-family houses, gardens, some shops, a restaurant, a pizzeria, an ice cream stall, bakeries, a church, an old people’s home and two streams, fields and forest. This holiday accommodation is a detached 110m² bungalow on its own fenced garden site. The classical, solid structure (built in 2011) stands for comfort, relaxation and peacefulness. The many windows and the light and open design create an airy atmosphere. The bungalow style offers many advantages: no steps or edges, as all the rooms are on one level. The accommodation was renovated in 2019 and has tasteful and modern furnishing. All the rooms are fitted with under-floor heating. Two of the three bedrooms each have two single beds (90 x 200cm), the other has a double bed (180 x 200cm). One bedroom has a TV/DVD player and a satellite receiver. The spacious, beautiful bathroom has a window, a shower and a washing machine, no bath. There is also a separate guest WC. The centrepiece is the big living and dining room with a twin satellite TV (German and English satellite reception), a Playstation 2, a stereo system with a CD, USB, MP3 player and a big dining table with plenty of space and upholstered chairs. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a coffee machine, a Senseo coffee machine, a toaster etc. There is a storage room. The south-facing rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, electronic blinds and direct access to the garden. The house is on a 500m² site in a little area with new builds. Garden seating and sunshades are provided. A highchair and child’s bed are available, as well as wireless Internet access. There are parking spaces by the house. Arrival days are Friday and Saturday - change requests on request. A 7th person is possible on request with an extra bed. The holiday house is by the Teutoburger Forest and in the Münsterland/Tecklenburger Land, therefore there are many recreational and leisure activities available in the area. Many hiking trails start practically on the doorstep, e.g. Hermannsweg, and the DAV climbing area by the Teuto cliffs is nearby. You can also go walking, running and mountain biking in the Teutoburger Forest and amidst fields. It is an ideal area for cycling and cycle tours, owing to direct access to the flat Münsterland. Within 10km you can get to the Ibbenbüren pool with waves, the outdoor pool in Tecklenburg, the tecklenburg open-air stage and the golf course, the Naturagart diving paradise, as well as various riding facilities, cinemas, discos, summer toboggan runs, museums… There are shopping facilities in Ibbenbüren, Tecklenburg and Lengerich. You can go on day trips to Münster, Osnabrück or Rheine within 40km.
