Summary: We stayed for 3 nights during our kids’ April vacation to be near to the Pump House at Jay Peak Resort - we had a blast. There were 6 of us, and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, grill tools, and even had a drawer full of kids dishes. The stove and oven worked great - the coffee machine was heavenly. The grill was fantastic, and the fridge had lots of space. We recommend you bring your own spices and oils, but if you forget anything, there’s a general store just a few-minutes walk away. The beds were comfy as were the sitting areas. We loved the option to either dine on the picnic table in the porch area or in the dining room. Sadly, it was a bit too chilly still for our kids to be hanging outside much. So, we didn’t get to use the deck area a whole lot, but look forward to doing that during another stay. Yes, we’d definitely go back. And let us not forget the most gorgeous thing about this stay - Trout River. It is truly beautiful, and the house is just steps from it. The deck is the perfect spot to enjoy it - just listening to it made all of us instantly chiller. Very much recommend this place. Final note about bathrooms: it’s great that they have a 1/4 bath downstairs, but just be aware that it is very small to the point where taller or larger bodied folks may not be able to use it. The upstairs bathroom was usable and comfortable for all members of our group.
