Casa Calyx has incredible surf-to-horizon views overlooking Playa Santa Teresa on one side, and a lush nature reserve on the other. Whilst only 12 minutes walk to dip your toes in the ocean, Casa Calyx is a tranquil retreat from our bustling town below. Cleaning service included.
The space
Santa Teresa is known for superb surf, and excellent dining options from around the globe. If you prefer to eat in, you'll love the chef-designed kitchen with ocean view. Best suited to couples and families.
Our 3rd bedroom (which can also be used as an office) has a single bed and extra wide desk with ample space for two to work from. The office has an open air feel with extra large windows and a walk out balcony. For warmer days, the room is also equipped with A/C.
Our home was architected to capture a calming cross breeze from the ocean to the jungle. Host guests from the main floor with our sliding doors open to hear the crash of the surf and the sound of howler monkey's playing in the jungle below.
Casa Calyx was designed to support remote workers. We have fiber optic wifi and a backup generator to ensure the wifi stability through any outages.
Finally, Casa Calyx has 24 hour security, and app enabled keyless lock.
Guest access
We recommend guests use 4x4 or ATV transportation to access the property, which we are happy to suggest options for. It isn't completely necessary for guests who are OK walking up our mountain road (we do it all the time!)
Other things to note
Our plumbing and toilets are sensitive (comes with living in the jungle). We ask that you don't put anything in the toilet and throw used toilet paper in a garbage can beside the toilet. You'll find this is common practice in Santa Teresa.
