This home offers modern fixtures and furnishings including: a king sized bed, large shower with on demand gas hot water, wide picture windows with screens, handmade furniture, Starlink wifi, Netflix, and spectacular volcano and lake views. Within this secured property you can find gardens with fruit trees and owners on site. Net 0 property, we produce more energy than we consume with more than 11kw of solar electric panels and solar water heaters. We do not have black out curtains, it seems that backpackers love that. It is something that I will not change for your visit. I encourage you to go to bed early and get up with the birds, the sunrise and the sounds of nature from swing area are amazing!
Paved access, 90 meters from the road with 50 stairs. We offer street parking, not a private area. I have had my motorcycle parked out front since 2018 and have not ever had a problem.
90 meters of paved sidewalk from the road to the gate with 50 stairs AND potentially 90 meters and 100 stairs more to the highest casita on the property. We are 2.5km from the tourist center.
I recommend parking your car in the road in front of our property instead of using a parqueo in town.
This casita does not have blackout curtains. This seems to be a big problem for some guests. Please choose another casita here on the property that has blackout curtains rather than reserving this one. The sun comes into this casita from 6:30am until 9:30 a.m. and then is very mild after 9:30.
I built this casita for the needs and desires of myself as I were backpacking/traveling. It is not built like other homes. If this is not what you consider normal, rent a different casita instead of complaining about too much sunshine, too many windows, too much wind, too much nature, ect.
