The five-kilometer-long, fine sandy beach, the 12,000-hectare Rostocker Heide forest area and the upland moor with rare animals and plants offer plenty of space for rest and relaxation. The Baltic Sea spa resort of Graal-Müritz is just a few minutes away. The Hanseatic city of Rostock and other excursion possibilities, such as the Fischland-Darß peninsula and Zingst, are also nearby.
