Finished to a high standard it’s a lovely place to stay in Inverness. In a peaceful location by the river, Rossie Lodge is the perfect place to stay when visiting Inverness and the Highlands. Only a short walk to the castle and city centre -and a charming walk too, where you will find a small, characterful, historic and attractive city to explore and enjoy. Visiting Inverness for a city break is an excellent choice because not only can you roam around everywhere easily on foot, soaking up the tales and interest of this historic place, but also you can get out into the glorious Highlands to explore. Loch Ness is only ten minutes drive away and you can be striding up a Munro in only half an hour! Staying in Inverness, and particularly at Rossie Lodge, offers the best of both worlds: you can have the convenience and charm of staying in the city, but be close to the exciting Highland landscapes for adventures. With all roads leading to Inverness up in the Highlands staying here is a great idea because you can explore a different part of the Highlands each day of your holiday. The Black Isle and North Coast 500 to the north, the Moray Coast and Culloden Battlefield to the east, the Cairngorms National Park to the south and to the west Loch Ness, Skye, Applecross, Fort William, the list goes on! Rossie Lodge really makes the most of the spot.
The apartment is on the first floor and entering the living/dining room you immediately fall for the place. The enormous amount of light pouring into the room is glorious and looking out over the River Ness with vast numbers of mature trees all around is really very lovely. Having a balcony off the living space really allows you the make the most of the situation. Perfect early in the morning with coffee in hand or equally early evening with a slightly stronger drink instead! The kitchen is very well equipped and just off the dining space. It’s large and has everything you will want during your stay. There are spacious bedrooms, one with twin beds, the other with kingsize bed and an amazing en-suite bathroom in a turret. There is also a shower room. This is a brilliant apartment for your break in Inverness, you’ll be so glad at the decision!
