Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Beautiful house with heaps of space. We went with two families plus grandparents and there was plenty of space for 12 people. Comfortable beds, clean, heaps of crockery and condiments in the kitchen. The kids loved the third floor lookout although the ladder was a bit scary! Double windows everywhere so when we decided to do a karaoke session with YouTube one evening we just closed things up and put the aircon on and all was quiet outside. Basically across the road from a great beach for a splash and an easy drive to local fish markets, supermarkets and anything else you’d need. Great big bath and bathroom and even a shower room accessible from outside for rinsing off after the beach.
Negative: There were a lot of rules pertaining to the use of the yard which meant we didn’t use the outdoor space much which was a pity - with the grass the kids had been looking forward to having a run around. The verandah is beautiful and there is a hammock but with all the signs and warnings about bothering the neighbours it only got used for quiet sitting and relaxing. We felt there has probably been issues with the dog breeder neighbours in the past so probably can’t be helped.
