From the large, covered balcony on the 1st floor and the 2nd uncovered balcony on the 2nd floor and several terraces, you have an idyllic view over the forest property. From here you can enjoy the wonderful view of the Edertal and the 673 meter high "Sackpfeife" mountain.Hatzfeld is located in the typical low mountain range landscape of the Upper Edertal. The highest peaks rise up to 674 meters (sack pipe). In all seasons you can always discover attractive perspectives. Pass the time with a canoe tour or fishing. The town and the adjacent district of Waldeck-Frankenberg offer its visitors numerous leisure activities. Highlights included: WLANActivities nearby: The Hessian mountains region offers you a variety of leisure activities both in summer and in winter. The beautiful landscape is ideal for hiking or Nordic walking tours. The paths are very well marked and not least because of this they have been awarded by the German Hiking Institute. The Ederauen cycle path (200 km) leads directly through the village 1 km away or Sackpfeife with a summer toboggan run is only eight kilometers away.
