Positive: The location is excellent; it’s very convenient for us to go skiing at Northstar or visit Lake Tahoe. The house also provides several board games, which is a nice touch.
Negative: Even though the water heater seems to be running continuously, the hot water only lasts about 10 minutes during showers. It takes time to reheat, so you need to manage your shower time carefully. Although there are two bathrooms, they cannot be used simultaneously. The water pressure is sufficient, and the water temperature is warm at the beginning, but it quickly runs out, making showering a cautious experience. Regarding the heating system, the bedroom on the first floor is very warm, even to the point of being hot, but the heating in the upstairs sleeping area is inadequate. This makes it difficult to decide whether to adjust the temperature higher or lower, which can be frustrating.
