Squirrel Corner is just 2½ miles from Cockermouth and is located on the fringe of the Lake District National Park which provides the perfect base for your holiday. The interior design is both contemporary and thoughtful and offers a peaceful environment with plenty of easy seating and dining space. The open plan design makes it a very social space and ideal for spending quality time with loved ones. The kitchen is well-equipped and the living area offers comfortable sofas and a 32" Smart TV. The main bedroom features a kingsize ottoman bed with plenty of storage for your belongings and an en-suite shower room. Whilst the second bedroom has twin beds and there is a separate shower room with heated towel rail. Outside is decking and an outdoor seating area to soak up the sunshine and relax with a glass of wine.
This is an excellent base to explore the Northern Lakes and the west coast of Cumbria. The park is well maintained and peaceful, and you are only 25 minutes’ drive from Keswick. If you love the Lakes you are in easy reach of Bassenthwaite Lake with stunning scenery and an abundance of wildlife including red squirrels, buzzards and osprey to the east.
