The south facing village of Polkerris has water sports options, such as kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding, along with the traditional touches of sand castle building and rock pooling. Fowey, home to a royal regatta and cultural festival each year has deep sea fishing, dolphin spotting trips, sailing and kayaking along its famous river.
