Formerly comprising the old village school house, these mews houses are built on a slope. ‘Upside-down’ in style, this property has stairs leading down to the living room and kitchen area, with patio doors leading out to the terrace. Dogs are well catered for, with a dog shower, dog beds and bowls and a secure courtyard garden. It is just a short stroll down to the village with its amenities and the famous Wookey Hole Caves and the paper mill. The area is ideal for walkers and cyclists, with lots of open access land and a myriad of cycle paths and footpaths. Horse riding, golf, clay pigeon shooting, rock climbing and caving are some of the favourite adventure activities, and the area is internationally recognised as one of the best bird watching locations in the world. You can walk from the door up into the Mendips and down into Wells itself, which is only a few miles away.
