City of Port Aransas - Beach Parking Permit Information:
To park along the beaches in the City of Port Aransas, a $12.00 permit is required. This applies to the area from Marker (0) to Marker (62).
Free parking areas are available between the Jetties and Horace Caldwell Pier, as well as between Markers 52-58.

Please pay close attention to following the HOUSE RULES: Non-compliance could result in sizable fines.

- LONG-TERM STAYS: (Snowbird, long-term rental, winter Texas, winter Texan). Contact Starkey by Portoro to discuss if a long-term stay discount applies to this listing. Stays over 29 days are waived from paying the State and Local Hotel Tax. However, there are additional fees we need to collect for damage coverage and housekeeping. In compliance with our policies for long-term stays, we need to collect an additional cleaning fee for guests staying longer than 3 weeks. Your Guest Ambassador will coordinate the cleaning schedule for a minimum of once every 2 weeks. You can request cleanings more frequently if desired. Summary: I would say overall we are happy with our stay. The home was nice, great location, and the communication with property management company was mostly positive. Unfortunately, the hurricane almost left us having to cancel our trip as it made landful the morning before our stay. The circumstances still unknown we thought we may have to cancel our trip since the propery appeared to be in the direct path. The property management team was not willing to refund any of our money, even with the mandatory evacuation. Brian was most unhelpful during this time and left us quite disappointed with Starkey Properties. I will not book with Starkey Properties again, as we purchased the travel insurance and still were not given the opportunity for a refund with the hurricane heading directly towards the location of the property and the mandatory evacuation in place. The property management company was also not prepared for our arrival as scheduled. I reached out to the management team the evening before our stay confirming we will arrive as scheduled since the storm was making a turn more north, they confirmed we were good to go. The next morning we are enroute, and Brian sends a message saying they will be ready for us to arrive Tuesday instead of Monday. I reached out to another team member and she confirmed we could arrive on Monday, as scheduled, but the cleaners had not made it out yet. When we arrived the floors were disgusting, hair and sand all over.
