Nestled in a quiet bay on Kennisis Lake, and situated close to the water, this exquisite, all-season 4 bedroom cottage is without a doubt the ideal spot for a family vacation. It has all the amenities of home, without losing a bit of it’s cottage country charm. Designed for comfort and convenience, with all new furniture in the great room, every aspect of lake life has been detailed. From the interior décor to the sculpted stonework that gently slopes to the lake, boasting a luxurious stationary deck and an oversize dock. It even has a newly renovated screened-in Muskoka room to enjoy the outdoors, while beating the bugs.
Wifi, Netflix, outdoor and indoor games, a UV drinking water system, washer and dryer, propane fireplace, direct-feed propane BBQ, lakefront firepit, 2 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, patio furniture and Muskoka chairs, a hammock, and all day sun, are just part of what make this the place where holiday memories are made.
We’re only minutes from the 80,000 acre Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve with its groomed trails (2 minutes by snowmobile to the Forest trail!) and world-famous Wolf Observatory. Kennisis Lake boasts 14 miles of boating pleasure, and uninhabited islands to explore. There is a marina and small store for last minute supplies and all your watercraft needs. We’re cut off from the hustle and bustle in our wooded lakelands, yet only 30 from shopping, golf courses, restaurants and entertainment.
