With a blend of rustic charm and modern amenities, this chalet is designed for comfort and fun. Step outside onto the deck to soak in the private hot tub, enjoy a meal at the Trex dining table, or gather around the fire pit for stargazing and storytelling. Inside, cozy up by the floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace, watch your favorite shows on Smart TVs, or prepare a delicious meal in the fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. If needed, there's a table and chair in the kitchen to use for working on your laptop.
The open-concept living area features country decor, with pine ceilings and shiplap walls creating a warm and inviting ambiance. One bedroom is conveniently located on the main floor, making it an excellent option for guests with limited mobility, while two additional bedrooms upstairs offer privacy and comfort, including a private balcony retreat in one room.

You’re just minutes from the slopes of Whiteface Mountain, miles of scenic hiking trails, and the charming town of Lake Placid. In the winter, enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or cozy up inside after a day of exploration.

A high chair is available upon request. All linens are included. The bedrooms and the living room have air conditioning units.

For your comfort, from June 1st to September 15th, we are pleased to provide the main bedroom and the living room with air conditioning units
The following items are minimally supplied (enough to get you started): toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap, and bath soap. Linens are provided, including bedsheets, quilts, pillows, washcloths, and bath towels, to use during your stay. We supply salt and pepper but do not supply other kitchen spices, condiments, hand towels, beach towels, shampoo, or charcoal.

Our home is ideally situated just 3 miles from Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, a twenty-minute drive from Lake Placid, minutes from Lake Everest, and miles of hiking trails ranging from relaxed beginner trails to harder climbs.
Lake Everest is in Wilmington. It has a beach for swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking, and in winter, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and ice skating. There is also a picnic area, pavilion, and playground! For easy scenic hikes in Wilmington, be sure to visit the beautiful Flume and Hardy Rd trails.
Whiteface Mountain has the greatest vertical drop east of the Rockies and boasts over 283 acres of skiable terrain, 86 trails, and 11 lifts. It features diverse terrain for beginner skiers and snowboarders and expert glades and slides for the advanced!
Lake Placid is a charming, all-season resort town with a Main Street, unique shops, loads of restaurants, sporting and cultural events, a movie theatre, mini-golf, and a waterfront park with live music featured weekly during summer. The town also has supermarkets and other conveniences.
