The adventurous have the capability to hike from the cabin door all the way to the Roan Balds! Novice hikers can enjoy miles of easy hike trails. Foot access to beautiful George's Creek via state forest trail (off of Hogum Hollow Rd) minutes from cabin door. Walk or drive to Doe River trout fishing in minutes. Minutes by vehicle to dining options in Roan Mountain and 30 minute drive to NC ski resorts. Cabin Conveniences include: Commercial power, water, hot water heater, stove top, oven, washer, dryer, full refrigerator and freezer, tv (access programming apps via your accounts and your phone's hot spot), air conditioner/dehumidifier for sleeping comfort and propane heating. Note: Renter's responsibility to secure all appropriate and required hunting/fishing licenses if you intend to harvest game/fish. Must have 4-wheel drive and minimum 7.5 inch ground clearance in vehicle to access the cabin.year round.
