In a vibrant neighbourhood area next to Edinburgh University/Festival/Old Town area. 15-minute walk to the Royal Mile with easy access to public transport links. Is also, a 3-minutes walk to either Arthurs Seat or the Meadows. The commonwealth pool is around the corner and many festival venues are very close. Ideal for anyone looking to explore the city or requiring to be central for business. Within walking distance of many popular tourist sites, shops and eateries. Such include: Summerhall - 3 mins Holyrood Park/Arthur's Seat - 3 mins The Meadows - 3 mins The Univeristy of Edinburgh/Festival Theatre - 8 mins St.Giles Cathedral - 8 mins National Museum of Scotland - 11 mins Camera Obscura - 14 mins Edinburgh Castle/Royal Mile - 15 mins EICC/Princes Street - 19 mins Has hotel-quality linens and towels and has been professionally cleaned. It also has views to Arthur's Seat.a The Space: The flat has wonderfully high ceilings with original Victorian cornicing and has generous proportions and natural lighting due to the large windows which have views to Arthur's Seat. The well equipped kitchen is also generous in size, with ample room for cooking, dining and socialising. Leading off the kitchen there is a separate utility room for all laundry requirements, which features a washing machine and separate drier. This room leads into the living room giving the flat a wonderful sense of space and flow. There are two large bedrooms with comfortable beds, one kingsize the other a double bed. The third bedroom has a loft bed arrangement (small double mattress) with good head space and with a single bed underneath. All mattresses have hotel-quality linens and towels as well as luxury toiletries. Guest Access: All areas of the flat are available for use apart from one cupboard in the hall which is reserved for our personal use. You will also have access to free Wifi. All of Edinburgh is there to be explored Interaction with Guests: 24 hour help should you need it. The Neighborhood: The flat is in a vibrant area with plenty of pubs and restaurants (of all sorts) on its doorstep. You can walk across the Meadows (great kids play park and recreation space) and into town, the Royal Mile and the Castle via the University buildings in about 15 minutes. What we love too is that it is virtually on the doorstep of Arthurs Seat which offers impressive walking, nature and views across the city. The Commonwealth Pool, the Queens Hall concert venue and the Festival Theatre are also a short walk away. East Clerk Street, host to many mini markets, local supermarkets, Asian stores, vintage shops and banks is just a short step away from the flat. Getting Around: There is a bus directly outside that can take you into central Edinbugh if you don't fancy the walk. Parking is restricted but there are metres which allow 4 hour parking - instead of hunting for change download the parking app for ease. There is unrestricted parking 15 minutes walk further South down Dalkeith Road if you prefer. Parking is free at weekends. Closest Car Park (5 minutes walk) - Easi Parks cost £2 per hour, £8.90 all day and £16.90 for 24 hours. Uber also operates in Edinburgh and provides a quick and easy way to call cabs. You can also rent out bikes as a way of getting around which is both fun and healthy. Other Things to Note: We use the flat ourselves from September to June but in the Summer months it is available for Airbnb. B&B Buddy manage and takes care of the property while we are not there, we have fantastic cleaners and excellent linens. B&B Buddy will look after you and are always available for you.
