Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: great location. it was close to Juso train station, just a short walk and I felt safe and secure. Even though the apartment had a washing machine, it was easier to go to the laundromat on the corner (literally a 30 second walk) As it dispensed washing powder which was super cheap and the washing machine and dryer were easy to use. Also loved the option of sleeping on the futons upstairs on the tatami matted floor which gave you the authentic Japanese experience.

Negative: The lounge was old and the material was peeling from the cushions which made sitting on it uncomfortable without a blanket/cover. Also, could have benefited from a Smart TV (not a major necessity) for those rainy days in or nights at home where logging into your own Netflix account could have been a handy option. There are 'exit lights' that are really bright in the rooms upstairs and throughout the house, we covered them with singlets as they were so bright it was hard to fall asleep, so be mindful of that if you book this place.
