Summary: What a nice property! Everything was spotless and very nice. My wife's first comment was about the coffee situation. They have both a Pod and regular coffee maker. All of the appliances and AC worked perfectly. Everything seemed either new or very well kept. The bathrooms were spacious and showers had plenty of water pressure. We had a little confusion on the TV one night after my wife flipped a switch in the hallway which turned off the outlet for the tv after about 15 minutes of puzzling we finally figured it out :) The only thing I might change is the bed. My wife assures me that I am a bed snob, We have a newer custom mattress at home. So to me the bed is a little soft, My wife thought it was just right, so take that as you will. I cannot overstate how nice, clean, and high quality everything is. We had one concern we reached out to the property owner and we had quick and excellent service. Carol is super nice. Things I wish I had known. There is a grocery store nearby, You don't have to go all the way to Charleston if you forgot something. They are reasonably priced given where you are staying. The Island is private, you will need to stop at the gate initially to get a pass to get in and out. Speed limits on the island are 25-30mph We only saw one alligator and had to go out of out of our way to see it The beach is one of the top 5 in the US. but no shells, Edisto beach is nearby and littered with shells, We took home 17 Welks and1 shark tooth from Edisto
