Welcome to OSullys beach house
With Bland Bay beach on one side and the harbour on the other accessible via a private residential road, this house has been set up for 2 families with children to enjoy and make magical memories just as we did as kids.
Entry through a large private front gate, with enough parking for several cars, a boat, caravan etc you will find our double storey beach house.
We are completely separate and not attached to any other property and the home is fully fenced to create a little haven with some privacy for your family to enjoy.
Outdoor kiwi cold shower and other additions for you to enjoy you will find this home so convenient and enjoyable.
With a brand new kitchen you will find all the extras - coffee machine, milk frothier, dishwasher, air fryer, deep fryer, microwave, slow cooker, blender, churros maker, sandwich press, kettle and toaster.
For the avid cooks you will find a impressive spice drawer with all your herbs and spices to use and enjoy complementary.
Large french double door fridge freezer and plenty of storage space for all of your goodies :) Lots of bench space, double sink with sprayer tab, induction hob and oven.
The kitchen is large and open plan with a bifold window opening across to bring the outside in where you can enjoy outside-inside flow with leads onto two large outside decks which wrap around the top level of the house - here you will find two outdoor seating areas with Festoon lights overlooking the harbor one side and the beach the other (obstructed view)
Upstairs inside you will find two lounge areas and a 10 seater dining table and a breakfast bar which seats an additional 3 people. There is a day bed and a hanging egg chair in the lounge area.
Two bedrooms upstairs, including a double bunk bed and cot and a queen bedroom.
There is a library of books and games available for use in the kids bedroom aswell as a television, lego, toys, reading corner.
Downstairs you will find the third bedroom with single children's bunks and a double bed.
A toilet
A bathroom with a bath and shower. Toilet and laundry with a front loader washing machine: Plenty of storage for clothes and your belongings.
The garage area has been converted to a games room with pool table, extra fridge and freezers, bait fridge freezer, additional bunk beds and sofa bed for the overflow teenagers, dart board, small kitchen, foosball table, some snorkel gear is available to use for the younger kids (5 - 10 Y/O)
Plenty of storage space to store your surf boards, dive gear etc.
There are bikes (2 adults and 2 young childs) which are free to use as well as 3 Kayaks and various children's beach toys.
Loungers and bean bags available. Hammocks and hanging chairs downstairs in the outdoor area - some awesome spaces to chill after a day in the sun.
Plenty of space to park the boat.
Bring own towels and linen
It is expected that dishes be washed and packed away on exit and the house is tidy in the same was it was found. There will be additional charges for damages and mess.
Fantastic fishing, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, diving, windsurfing and kitesurfing in the bay and many beautiful walking tracks.
It is not unusual to see Dolphins frolicking in the bay, very close to the shore line.
If you are into surfing, Elliot Bay is great surf beach 10 minutes away
Launch ramp is 1 minute drive. The bland bay motor camp is opposite the property where they have a camp shop for essentials. From Whangarei town center it is a 1 hour 15 drive, from Russell it is a 45 min drive.
Bland Bay is renowned for its fishing and diving and has been rated one of worlds best Dive spots - There is a dive center 10 min drive from the property where you can fill up the dive bottles. Stock up on your burley and bait before you come.
The closest fuel station is in Oakura - 25 min drive. There is also a four square where you can pick up the essentials. Fish and chip shop and a newsagents.
"The Farm" which offers horse riding lessons and trail rides as well as motor bike riding and various other activities is less than a 15 min drive from the property
Russell and the surrounding areas (45 min drive) are renowned for wine tasting and other activities including water sports - parasailing, jet skiing, fishing trips or cross the ferry to Paihia for more Bay of Islands activities.

Additional adults will be charged at $30 per night and children $15 per night.

There is a cabin at the end of the property with direct harbour views. It has a queen bed and bunk bed. This can be added on at an additional cost of $120 per night for a maximum of 2 adults/2 children inclusive). No toilet or facilities and no power so you will need a torch if you wish to use it.
