Summary: Great private apartment with kitchen set up pretty good, up high on a hill near the Guelaguetza. Olga was very receptive to all my questions and requests. The apartment is on a busy street but set back far from the street so not super noisy, really close to the Pascuas market, and the patio area is gated so my dog could be off leash (altho if you are traveling with a dog be warned that there are lots of celebrations in Oaxaca and thus lots of firecrackers so mine got scared). Two things to be aware of are that there is no AC or cross breeze since its up against the hillside and only has windows on one side so it was really really hot inside, (hotter than outside) and hard to cool down in the eves even with the fans. Also it is up the hill from the centro, and with quite a few steps up some stairways from the driveway to the apartment, so be prepared for that. Otherwise a great location & felt really safe.
