Fish in the bay or take a short ride to the Gulf (appx. 3 miles) for some fantastic offshore action and when finished clean your catch on the dock at one of two cleaning stations.
If you prefer golf than you can take a short ride to several outstanding public courses in the area. Fort Morgan Park is a couple of miles down the road as well as Bon Secour National wildlife Refuge for the bird watcher or just take the ferry over to Dauphin Island and spend the day. This complex is less crowded, relaxed and friendlier than the more densely developed beaches of Alabama and that is why Navy Cove is so appealing.
