During the day, go out and explore the renowned Desoto State Park, Desoto Falls and Little River Canyon - all nearby. There are hiking trails all around, rock climbing, swimming, kayaking, mountain biking, horseback riding, or exploring downtown Mentone - a quirky mountain town with an artistic flair! Also known as camp capital of the world, for you families coming in, we are within driving distances of all the Lookout Mountain summer camps.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes and silverware you'll need - just bring your ingredients and get cooking. Enjoy your meals inside at the dinner table or walk outside to eat, surrounded by the tall trees on the back deck or enjoy cooking out. To round out this wonderful getaway enjoy the firepit, picnic tables and generous dock while sunbathing, reading a book or fishing. Enjoy the evenings snuggling up in front of the fireplace or sit back at the firepit cooking smores.
This cabin has two spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom located at the back of the cabin features a queen size bed and a large window where you can watch the sunrise over the lake. The second bedroom is in the loft area and also has a queen size bed. The loft is generously lit by both sides of the cabin while the tall trees surround the cabin to provide natural privacy. For extra sleeping space the pull out sofa provides additional sleeping.
We use a lockbox system to unlock the front door which the code will be provided to you. Check in time is 4:00 PM and checkout time is 11:00 AM.
