This is a gem of a find. The property is located within 5 minutes stroll of Silverlake Reservoir, and Sunset Junction. Nestled in the foothills of Forbes Magazines' most desirable neighborhood to live in the whole of the US. You are two blocks from all the restaurants, bars, shopping and amazing houses Silverlake has to offer. This is a 1927 classic Spanish style home with an amazing serene garden, deck, pergola and front patio. There are original oak hardwood floors throughout. Each bedroom has it's own walk in closet as well as new queen beds and mattresses. The charm and character of this home will we hope make your stay memorable. On your doorstep are dozens of things to do. You are 25 minutes drive from the beach, you can poke your head out of the window and see the Hollywood sign or you can walk down to Sunset Junction or Silver-lake Blvd and eat and drink and shop for all this amazing neighborhood has to offer. The property has two bedrooms with queen beds and new mattresses in each. There are roomy walk-in closets in each room. There are designer fans in each room (as LA can get hot) and the host will provide plenty of fresh linen and and towels for your stay. The kitchen has everything you need with a washer dryer tucked in the pantry just over from the sit down breakfast nook. The main living space has two classic leather sofas and chairs. You can also dine at the reclaimed oak farmhouse table or choose to sit under the pergola and enjoy the hummingbirds, fresh oranges from our tree. Or just kick back and enjoy the serene back garden, yet be only minutes stroll from all the action. This house could not be better positioned and it is a very rare find in LA to have so much within walking distance. The property has a separate studio which is located in a separate buildling at the end of the driveway. This is used by the owner and co-host as a live/work space but has separate entrance and access. The house and gardens at front and back are all yours to enjoy in privacy. The area is very desirable destination for Angelenos and visitors so you'll be pleased that there is off street parking in the driveway so you'll always have a place to park. We love Silverlake that's why we live here but the owner is very respectful of your privacy and there will always be someone on hand should you need anything.
