THE VIBE:
Our spacious and newly remodeled 1,600 square foot dream house is the perfect weekend and vacation destination for families and groups looking to get together and enjoy the best of San Diego! We can accommodate groups up to 8 people. We provide a pack and play and high chair for your little one's comfort.
The house is single story: There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large yard area, a dining area, luxury kitchen, and epic game room in the garage!
There's one parking spot on the driveway (possibly 2, if the cars are compact).
Situated on a fantastic Oceanside Street (Cottingham), our large house offers a fantastic location, near the freeway, ocean, and tons to do. It's 15 minutes to Legoland or downtown Carlsbad, 20 minutes from Encinitas, and close the ocean. Orange County is just on the other side of Camp Pendleton (25 minutes north)!
The home is stocked incredibly well; we have a minimum of two bed sets (per bed), numerous towels for the jacuzzi, as well as hand and makeup towels. The kitchen is stocked with high quality appliances and everything you'd need to cook a full Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner. We provide soap, conditioner, and body wash in each shower. We don't want you to have to bring anything but clothes and food, so you can pack minimally and let us handle the rest.
We designed this home to be extremely organic feeling, with lots of beautiful textures, warmth, and layered design elements. We think it reflects the best of Southern California living and we know you will love it, too!
PARKING:
There's room for 1 car in the driveway, possibly 2 if they are compact. Lots of street parking!
BEDROOMS:
There are 3 bedrooms-- 2 King + 1 Queen. All of the bedrooms are spacious, beautiful, and well appointed. Everyone will sleep sound!
LIVING ROOM:
Open concept living at its finest! Whip up a meal in the chef's kitchen while chatting with everyone seated at the dining table. The living room is just around the corner, with plenty of room for the whole group to hang out. The living room has a Queen sized pull out sofa for extra sleeping space!
GAME ROOM:
The garage has been converted into an epic game room where you can unleash the kiddos.
KITCHEN:
Our brand new kitchen is large with a ton of counter space. Making large family dinners has never been more convenient. We have a fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher, and tons of countertop space.
The kitchen cabinets include dishes, glasses, coffee mugs, silverware, and wine glasses. There are a large variety of pots and pans, frying pans, cooking utensils, mixing bowls, bake ware, can opener, corkscrew, cooking and steak knives. There is a toaster, blender, coffee, and plenty of dishes, plates and tableware to accommodate large groups. The kitchen opens up into an indoor/outdoor bar area.
Just off the kitchen is a large dining table, with additional seating in the living room. This main level is great for family gatherings and is the perfect place to come together after a fun San Diego day.
OUTDOORS:
The back yard is accessible from the interior of the home. It is completely fenced in with a gate to the front yard, making it a very dog friendly outdoor area for your pet to safely explore. There's a sparkling jacuzzi, outdoor seating area, grill and dining area. San Diego is known for its four-season weather so we wanted to go all-out on this backyard!
