Beautiful, bright and spacious single-family home on a quiet, leafy street in Chicago's Logan Square! Our home is perfect for a family with children, as we have toys, and a child's bedroom set up. The home is 3 full, finished levels, so your family will have lots of room to spread out and relax, or get together for a cozy movie night or family meal either inside or outside on our deck. The kitchen has everything you'd need to cook dinner in and keep your family fed for your stay. The pergola, deck and backyard offer a lovely respite during the summer months while our inside fireplace and pool table are perfect for cozy winter nights. We also have a full game room in the lower level with full-sized pool table and fuBball table. Our office has a desk, chair and working printer for you to use to print anything you need.
Our home is located walking distance from Stan Mansion, a popular wedding venue in Chicago and my next-door neighbor also has a VRBO with 4 bedrooms so if you are traveling in a larger group, you could ideally rent both houses simultaneously in order to be al together.
The neighborhood is known for its top tier food scene and relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy walking or biking on 'The 606'/ Bloomingdale Trail. Walk half a block to Palmer Square Park, great to play with dogs and kids. Walk to a many award-winning bars and restaurants such as Giant, Scofflaw, Daisies, Moonlighter, Parson's Chicken and Fish, Dante's Pizza, Cellar Door Provisions Lula Cafe, and more. Our neighborhood is home to many breweries, including Revolution, Maplewood, Hopewell, Solemn Oath and Middle Brow Bungalow. There are also many cute shops popping up for local shopping! You won't run out of things to do in Logan Square.
The bus to downtown is on our doorstep (2 min walk) and we are a ten minute walk from the California stop on the Blue line (The 'L) if you have plans to sightsee downtown! It is easy and safe to travel this way.
Lastly, there is free parking out front on Whipple Street.
