Danby Lodge is a beautiful property set deep within the Royal Forest of Dean. It is a Grade II listed, six-bedroom Lodge, originally built by order of Charles II, on the recommendation of Samuel Pepys. There is a magnificent King Charles Oak within the extensive gardens, along with a swimming pool, making this pet-friendly property ideal for guests looking for a base near Yorkley, Gloucestershire.
Park in the private grounds and unpack into this incredible, characterful abode, discovering a living/dining room with a Ingelnook open fireplace, hand carved Oak beams throughout, and tasteful furniture.
The property sports a contemporary kitchen housing a dining table for hearty meals, as well as a great selection of amenities. This leads into the dining hall and sitting area in front of the fire.
