Costalta is one of the highest towns in the Val Comelico, upper Cadore. On the regional road between Santo Stefano di Cadore and Sappada, at the height of Mare di San Pietro, turn and go up for about four kilometers to reach the main square of the village, on which overlooks the reception of widespread Hospitality.
Costalta is the ideal place for walking and diving in the pine forests to breathe oxygen and maybe give in to the wonder of discovering and collecting mushrooms. Above the houses in the meadows the ancient wooden tabiés still house sheep, goats and a few cows.
