Casa de Vaquero is a fully furnished, remodeled 2 bedrooms, 3 bath, home located in the quite fishing village of Chelem. 1st row from one of the most beautiful beaches in the Yucatan, offers a fully walled and gated yard with a private pool, and an oversized rooftop deck.
1st bedroom has a queen bed and en suite bath. 2nd bedroom has a king bed with en suite bath. The living room has a couch that converts to a full size bed.
If you need a 3rd bedroom there is a studio/casita with a custom round king bed, en suite bath, and kitchenette.
The incredible rooftop deck is perfect place to relax and enjoy the stunning sunrises and sunsets that the Yucatan offers. Walled courtyard with a pool and outdoor shower and powder room. On-site laundry.
The Neighborhood:
It would be easy to spend your stay enjoying the beach just outside your door. But if you want to explore a little more, make the 20 min drive to the newly renovated Puerto Progreso Malecon, a 30 min drive to the beautiful Merida. Chichen Itza, Uxmal, Izamal (The City of Gold), Santa Barbara cenotes and many, many more historical Mayan sites are within a 2-hour drive. No car? That’s ok, Tuk tuks, taxis, Uber, and private drivers are all available for hire.

There are Tuk tuks, Uber, combi bus, and private drivers in the area.
Other Things to Note:
Because we are a small fishing village on the Gulf of Mexico the area can have power and internet outages. If this should happen the hosts will do everything in their power to get these services restored however there will be no refunds or discounts due to loss of utility services.
