Welcome to the Cheerful Checkerboard Cottage! You'll love the spacious rooms and huge backyard, perfect for hanging out with friends, swimming on a summer day, or relaxing in the fresh air after a long day at work or in the National Parks. The home includes a family room with a fireplace and enough seating for 6, a well-stocked kitchen, and a dining room with sliding doors to the back patio where you'll find a grill and outdoor dining. There are three spacious and functional bedrooms with comfy beds and closet space. The primary bedroom has an attached jack-and-jill style bathroom with the laundry room. Each room is thoughtfully curated for guests.
Enjoy the sparkling pool and large yard where you can play cornhole, relax in the hammock, and BBQ! Fully stocked kitchen for cooking meals at home. Comfy living room to stream your favorite shows. Walkable neighborhood, garage parking. Perfect for National Park travelers, families, and traveling professionals!

The pool is NOT fenced. There is no barrier and no alarm for the pool.
All swimming and outdoor activities are done at your own risk. There is NO DIVING. If you are traveling with children who don’t know how to swim, please keep the doors locked at all times. All children, even those who do know how to swim, must be supervised at the pool at all times. This house may not be used to host pool parties or any other parties, at this time.

House Rules
1. Communication is key! All guests must download and use the Airbnb App for communication. You'll receive check-in and check-out information through the app. Check in after 4pm. Check out by 11am. Our office hours are between 8am-9pm, please communicate between those hours, or let us know if you'll need us after that time so we can have someone on call.
2. Honesty is the best Policy! Add all guests to the reservation. Maximum Occupancy is 6 total individuals. Pets are allowed. ALL animals require a one-time pet fee of $100. 2 dogs max. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Each dog must have a leash and crate.
3. No parties! No smoking of any kind inside the home. Removal of smoke detectors is illegal. Absolutely no parties or large, loud gatherings at this property. Loud music, excessive rowdiness, excessive drinking or smoking, etc. will result in a $1,000 party fine. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am.
4. Be respectful! When using outdoor areas (deck, bbq, yard games, etc.) and pool area and toys, please clean up after yourself so the next guest can enjoy it as well. If something is wrong, low, or out, please let us know so we can fix it. Never leave trash outside, it attracts birds, bugs, and other animals that make a mess.
5. Have fun! Our goal is to host a vacation to remember. If you don't agree with our above rules, this is NOT the house for you, please find a home that better fits your needs and we'll all be happier! With the exception of things out of our control, we'll always do our best to make sure you have the best time!
