Summary: I will say first off the Host was completely honest and up front about most things. The host contacted me and let me know that the cleaning company was not able to make it to the house and that it had not been cleaned. We were ok with this because we understand things happen. But when we got there the yard was completely unkept so much so that there is now a notice on the house from the city that states the yard is not in compliance. Next the stairs were squishy and soft like they are rotted. Then once in the house there were no trash bags, paper towels, or toilet paper. I looked for any sort of paperwork for checking in or out and there wasn’t any. Next I contacted the host about the Wi-Fi and she stated there was no WiFi. The listing stated there was. I told her I understood and she did discount the rate. Then we go to dinner and come back and go to watch tv and there is no cable or any sort of connection. This would be ok if we had WiFi to stream but we didn’t. All in all I would not recommend staying at this property until the listing is corrected and the house can be attended to.
