Studio apartment located less than 50m from Las Canteras Beach in central Las Palmas. Very close to Santa Catalina Park, where buses go to the airport and all over the island. Plenty of bars, restaurants, car rentals and supermarkets nearby. Just 4 km from the old part of town, Vegueta. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Bath & beach towels, shampoo, washing machine, iron, hair dryer all available. Free fiber optic WiFi connection. Chromecast, Satellite TV and Spanish channels all available. The studio apartment is located smack in the middle of Canteras Beach and the newer part of Las Palmas that revolves around it. There are lots of excellent restaurants in the area, bars, even clubs and casinos. A short walk to the east side you have La Puntilla which is very calm and where you have the fishing boats; great for sunbathing even on windy days. On the west side you have La Cicer, great for surfing. Las Arenas and El Muelle Shopping malls are also a short walk away, along pleasant avenues. The auditorium is also at the end of the beach for classical music lovers. And finally you have Santa Catalina Park from where you can get the bus to all parts of Las Palmas and Gran Canaria in general. You can be in Maspalomas Beach and sand dunes in just under an hour if you want to make a short day-trip to the south side of the island. 100m from Santa Catalina Park bus station, connections to airport hourly. Connects to San Telmo Central Bus Station and to all parts of the Island. Bus Line 60, with the company Global, leaves from the Airport on an hourly basis throughout most of the day. A taxi costs around 25 euros and in normal traffic conditions takes 25 minutes to get to the apartment / airport. From Santa Catalina you can also get the bus to San Telmo bus station (15 mins). This is next to the old part of town, called Vegueta, where you can visit the Cathedral, Canarian Museum, Christopher Columbus House, the theater and the more traditional shopping street, which is only open to pedestrians.
