Summary: We liked the 2nd floor location with vaulted ceilings and small balcony/lanai. The unit overlooks the big pool, lawn area and clubhouse. The unit is well appointed with everything we needed, and then some. A perfect location right in downtown Lahaina. A significant problem is the TV in the main living area. It was impossible to use, and there were no written instructions on which remotes did what. We got maintenance to help us get it working once, but as soon as we turned off the system, we could not get it working again. We were not there to watch TV. So, we gave up trying in the living area. A word to light sleepers. The local rooster population crows all night long, there is some traffic noise, and the room air conditioners are very noisey. For us, the solution was to close the windows, run the AC for a while to cool the room, then leave windows closed with AC off and ceiling fan on low.
