Our place is literally steps away (No Really!) from the famous Wrigley Field. Our place has tall 10ft ceiling with HUGE bay-like windows in the living room and large windows in dining area. It allows for plenty of light during the day. LOCATED on a corner lot that makes it great for those who just love to People Watch. You will feel a part of the action when people are streaming by the dining area windows excited about the cubs game for the day or watching people who live in the city go about their routine during the day! The red line train station & bus stop is literally right next to the flat and you will see a crowd of people shuffling off the train and out on the street toward the stadium.
The apartment features a multi setting shower with a rainfall shower head for a relaxing experience. We provide shampoo and body wash for guest use.
Provided inside is 2 queen beds, fitted and top sheets included on the beds, roll out twin bed and a convertible sleeper couch.
If you are anything like us you can spend your mornings looking at the homes or nearby places as you walk or bike (using the nearest Divvy Bike) the neighborhood. Whether just to grab some groceries at the nearest store, go the coffee shop or just roam the streets for those who love to look at architecture.
Want a new scenery? Hop on the Red line train next to us and head 15-20 minutes to downtown and what better way to feel like a local? get a good view of passing neighborhoods from your seat and views of the tall buildings passing you by as you get into Downtown!
This is one of three vacation rentals in the building. This is the first floor (middle apartment) in a 2 flat building. There is two others above and below. To get inside there is a main door to enter from outside porch about 10 steps then there is a second apartment door (out of 3 apartment doors). You will have your own code to use on our smart locks for convenience. No key is provided!

Summary: We were really disappointed in our stay here. Here's the positive: it's in a great location and it's spacious. On the other hand, the communication with the host is TERRIBLE...that is, there was NO communication with them other than the pre-written directions to check in and the follow up "thanks for staying with us". I messaged the host a day before our arrival AND the day of our arrival to ask about bag storage because we were arriving early on check in day. NO RESPONSE. We ended up communicating with the cleaning crew via translator to figure out if everything was all set with the room. When we entered, there was a bag of garbage on the steps going in that was never picked up (we ended up bringing it to a trash can nearby after day two). We went to Whole Foods the day we arrived and bought cheese and crackers, fruit, yogurts, drinks etc and put them all away only to realize the next morning the the fridge was not running at all. It was warm inside and we had to discard all of our perishable foods. We sent a message about that as well with NO RESPONSE. The apartment appearance? Clean but not well cared for (paint peeling, stucco crumbling around tub, etc) One of our towels was dirty with dark, crusty stains on it (yuck); half of the light bulbs are out etc - the apartment just doesn't seem well cared for. It's a great location and spacious, but they need to pay attention to the little details and communication. So many better places to stay in Chicago.
