Summary: A group of five friends were looking for a quiet weekend away of reconnecting and relaxing. This was a large, clean, and modern looking house. The owner met us to give us a tour and mentioned it was an old daycare. It’s a very big place, which was wanted. Three bedrooms, all filled with twin beds, plus three bathrooms. The kitchen was really nice, which was great because we cooked all our meals there. The outdoor patio was nice and large too. The listing mentioned a fire pit, but there is only a fire table, which was a little disappointing but okay in the end. Lots of room to spread out. The screened-in porch was nice too. It was a hot weekend but we were able to stay cool and still be outside on the porch. The downtown is pretty cool, with a great non-profit coffee shop, Open Door Coffeehouse. We also took a trek to the Horicon Marsh which is a short drive away.
