Positive: The apartment's location is excellent, within walking distance of many attractions, including the Old City. The entrance to the building is without steps, and so the apartment is wheelchair-accessible. The detailed instructions I received in advance were meticulous, and led me directly to the apartment door without a problem. The air conditioner is powerful enough for the Israeli summer.
Negative: When I arrived, a white key-card was supposed to be in the apartment, but wasn't. This card is needed to get into the nearby hotel's parking lot, where a parking space is reserved for the apartment. Without the card I couldn't get into the parking lot, and effectively I was forced to park out on the street and pay. So much for free parking. When I finally settled into the place I found that the wifi was on but without internet connection, and that the TV remote control wasn't working (even after changing its batteries). The kitchen was missing a kettle, which I found hidden away in one of the cupboards. Looking for the kettle, I also found the wireless router, and managed to resolve the wifi issue myself, although that shouldn't have been up to me. The company that runs this apartment (and others in the area) are nearly impossible to get a hold of. I tried calling a number that appears in the guest instructions (which should really be rewritten in proper English!) and only got an answering service, where the young woman didn't even speak Hebrew. By chance I ran into one of the employees, who couldn't help me but gave me the private number of someone higher-up. This number also proved useless, as that person never picks up. I sent him a detailed WhatsApp message, and received a feeble reply of "we'll get back to you", which never happened.
Summary: Great location, but won't stay there again
