Located just a few minutes away from the entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park, this cabin offers easy access to hiking, wildlife viewing, and scenic drives. You can also enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest, roast marshmallows at the fire pit, or curl up by the wood-burning stove.
The cabin has a king-sized bed and portable AC unit upstairs and a twin bed in the small bedroom downstairs. It also has a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the main room. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook your own meals, and there’s a bathroom, Wifi, washing machine and dryer for your convenience.
Please note that the Wifi can be a bit spotty, as it's Star Link (satellite) Wifi and the cabin is located in a wooded area. It's great for emails and casual use but you may run into hiccups while streaming movies (usually just short interruptions) and Zoom calls etc and cell signal is usually also not very strong in the area.
The upstairs is one large room without a door and serves as the main bedroom with lots of great space to store your gear and luggage. Please note that the stairs are fairly steep; there are handrails to help, but the upstairs is not recommended for folks with mobility issues.
The smaller bedroom downstairs is small private space with its own door, just off the main room.
