Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The manager and his wife were wonderful and tried very hard to make our stay better. Which definitely helped. The gardens and kitchen were well cared for and looked beautiful. The shared kitchenette was also very nice. The front verandah had a nice view. I think the place is slowly being upgraded. I hope. The area is amazing and handy to the ferries.
Negative: I did not like the room. We booked the family room, which was two rooms and a bathroom. It was old and dark and small. For the cost I was expecting a nice spacious area for four people to easily walk around each other and I had hoped for a table to sit at. The doors did not shut between rooms so we kept waking each other up. The carpet was in dire need of a deep clean or at least a deep vacuum. The aircon did not work and could not be fixed. It was terribly hot without aircon, even with fans. There was no where to sit except on the beds and one chair between 4 people that was not ideal. The one narrow bench was bent like someone had sat on it.
Summary: Great location, but not worth the price
