Plan a romantic trip or Go-getter Adventure for two in this cozy Easton home minutes from trail heads, snowmobiling, hunting and ATV trails and is a short drive to Snoqualmie pass Nordic trails, downhill skiing/snowboarding or lift served mountain biking. Enjoy it while passing through or stay for a while. This property is a bit more than an hour drive out of the heart of Seattle or Sea Tac airport.
This updated early century charmer has all the amenities you’ll need for your stay. The fully stocked kitchen will make creating a home cooked meal a breeze and the comfy living space a place to get some downtime between adventures. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a sloped ceiling but lots of room to spread out with a queen bed. On the main floor there is a bedroom with a single bed and the bathroom.
Outside, there are intimate porches and a fire ring. (Expect a burn ban in our area during July and August, so no outdoor fires will be possible at that time.) The best place to spend a summer morning is in the backyard sunshine with a hot cup of coffee.
Walking distance to Lake Easton State Park and the Palouse to Cascades trail. There will be snow on the ground in winter and it is an easy drive to The Summit at Snoqualmie Ski Resort for snow tubing or alpine skiing. Many who stay venture to Leavenworth (a holiday must!) Wenatchee or Yakima. Easton is a winter wonderland Dec. through Mar and sometime beyond.
Easton has a small market where you’ll find your favorite snacks and sundries. Though it is recommended to plan ahead for any special needs or to get the fixings for your favorite meal.
