Summary: Overall, the trip was great. The location of the house in Eagle Rock and the surrounding nature was the exact reason we choose this house, along with its private setting. We were not aware, however, of another house or property being built practically in the backyard, with workers occasionally stopping by to work on it (including with a bulldozer at one point), but overall it didn’t affect the trip too much. Other issues we encountered were: a dead automatic door lock which needed battery replacement while we were there in order to lock the door when we left the property, a dirty grill which we had to buy supplies to clean ourselves, and a hot tub that would not heat up. While these issues definitely weren’t ideal, quick and easy communication with the host solved our door problems, and while the others were a bummer we were still able to enjoy the gorgeous area and our trip as a whole.
