Keystravel (one word, no spaces) was started September 5th, 1995, over 23 years ago in Key West, Florida, our other destination, and we joined the Internet and launched Keystravel online April, 22nd, 1999. Our main offices are in Key West, and we also have an office in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
We are not a traditional travel agent, working off brochures to earn a commission that has never been to our destinations. We are specialists in only two destinations, with years of local expertise in the Galapagos Islands of Ecuador, and Key West, Florida, USA.
We do not recommend first time visitors to Galapagos to try to book a vacation here on your own, as there are too many details and pitfalls to negotiate.
Booking a Vacation to the Galapagos Islands is different than any other destination on Planet Earth. The sheer Logistics involved, that start with the timing your flights into and out of Ecuador (2 different airports to choose from), then your flights into and out of Galapagos (another 2 different airports), including the fact that you may be flying into and out of different Ecuador Airports, and likely two different Galapagos airports so as not to inefficiently retrace your steps, and also have these flights get you to the right island at the right time is complicated. Even a simple flight delay can throw off your whole itinerary costing you an extra night in a hotel on the wrong island and missing your already paid for hotel and tours on the next island, so our first piece of advice is also the first pitfall we wish you to avoid:
Do Not Book Your Airfare Until You Consult With Us About The Timing Of Your Flights.
We are the experts, and we have you covered from the minute you arrive into the Mainland of Ecuador, throughout your entire adventure in Galapagos, and until you depart from Ecuador towards home or your next destination!
We also personally screen and hire everyone that you will have contact with, including your guides, drivers and support staff. We have years of well developed contacts on each island to assist if something ever goes wrong. We have personally taken all of the tours we offer in our packages, and we have also stayed in and personally photographed each property, because someone should know exactly what you are checking into (all of those months and miles away from now), and that someone is us! We leave nothing to chance. Putting together a Flawless Itinerary is Our Job, not Yours. It's Work for You. It's Fun for Us, and getting it right is our Passion!
Regarding Packages: We do not offer "Preset Packages", and you will not be part of a group (unless you are a group). Our Packages are Custom Designed, one at a time for each client, and take into consideration only your needs, not the needs of the masses. Amazingly, these packages come out at a lot less than packages found elsewhere, as we are a small company more interested in a big happy following than big profits. We are happy to make an honest living.

This Deluxe Suite On The Beach is located Directly On The Sand. You could not get closer to the sand unless you set up a tent!
Here at Keystravel, Isla Isabela is our favorite island in the Galapagos Archipelago. It is the least commercial island, and in our minds has the best Beach in Galapagos. Our Tours are absolutely amazing, and if you are Beach People, this is a place you cannot miss.
Spectacular Ocean Views await your arrival, and your stay will include a Delicious Full Breakfast every morning from our Rooftop Deck overlooking the Open Ocean. Then after your breakfast, fill up your water bottles and get ready for the finest Galapagos has to offer.
This is also the best island to build in a "Rest and Relaxation Day" if you have the time, but if not, a 2 or 3 night stay on Isabela would be our recommendation based on activities alone, as this is the island that we have our best Tours in all of Galapagos, and if available, our best Guide in all of Galapagos, then add another night for that break from the pace required to maximize your visit to Galapagos. You will be glad you did!
Most of our clients tell us that the Isabela portion of their visit was the best part of their time in Galapagos, and they also say that they wish they had budgeted more time here. You will thank us for "making" you spend an extra night here.
Isla Isabela is the youngest island in the chain, and is also the furthest from the mainland. It still has that little Fishng Village / Beach Town feel to it and is less "Touristy". We cannot get enough of Isabela, and we believe it is highly likely you will feel the same way too.
