Positive: The owner and staff were extremely accommodating when we needed something. The area is very beautiful, serene and peaceful. The gardens are kept in excellent condition. A gift of some avocados was greatly appreciated. Because of heavy rains the gravel road was sometimes somewhat difficult to navigate, but not inaccessible. A great place if you don't like to be crowded. The unit was sufficiently equipped to make for a good break-away experience. TV, good bedding, big fridge and hot water is what one wants when you're on a trip that is to be enjoyed - and we had all of that.

Negative: The firewood was wet and could have been better cared for by storing it in a dry place. But we had electric oil heaters at our disposal, so really no reason for discomfort during cold nights.

Summary: The stand-alone chalet/unit is well equipped, clean, good mattresses and perfect for a good rest.
