Two of the things you may notice right away are the log accents and windows throughout the home, which provide a rustic, yet charming atmosphere along with a bright and airy feeling. Outside, you'll find a private hot tub and a deck off the living room which looks out over the creek with the Winter Park ski area set as the backdrop. The deck features a convenient gas grill for family cookouts–nothing beats enjoying a fresh grilled steak after a great day on the slopes. Back inside, the ground level features a tiled entry foyer with boot bench and coat rack and easy access from the garage. A full-size washer and dryer and cleaning supplies in the laundry area make long stays a breeze and just add to the conveniences found at our slopeside home. Worried about entertainment? There are three TVs, a DVD player, a reading nook, free WiFi, and a collection of over 100 DVDs–there's no space for boredom at this dreamy mountain escapade. When it comes to the kitchen, it features new appliances and is fully equipped to provide guests, especially the cook of the group, with the most complete and unforgettable cooking experience. We know sometimes work must be done while on vacation and that's why we provide you with a secluded work nook with a study desk and chair.

The Slopeside Village community is just a five-minute walk from the beginning of the Fraser River Trail and half a mile from the family-friendly slopes at Winter Park Resort. Enjoy an early morning cross country or snowshoe excursion along the banks of the Fraser River. Moose are occasionally spotted grazing in the willows that grow along the banks of the river. Follow the trail into downtown Winter Park for a cup of coffee or breakfast at one of the fine restaurants. The Winter Park Resort offers over 3,000 acres of skiing and riding terrain. Experienced skiers and riders won't get enough of Eagle Wind's thick glades and steep trails. However, if you are new to skiing, or traveling with young ones, you can enjoy Winter Park's family-friendly terrain and customer-oriented Ski and Ride School! Don't worry about packing up snacks for your trip to the slopes, there are plenty of dining options in the Village at Winter Park's base. Summer visitors can find endless fun activities to choose from such as mountain biking (with 600 miles of bike trails for novices and pros alike), hiking, chairlift rides, horseback riding, hot air balloon rides, mini-golf, and scenic explorations. Another great perk of this location is the close proximity to the Fraser River Trail–perfect for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or biking.
