Located 1 block from the Galveston Bridge and the Galveston shops just beyond, this is definitely a walkable location. Downtown is about a 10 minute stroll. This location earns a Walk Score® of 86 and we have a locked gear shed (shared with all fourplex guests) for your bike/skis/etc if you'd like to bring toys. This is a vibrant and bustling location, especially in the summer. The Mirror Pond float tube take out is just across the street in Drake Park. Various festivals and events visit Drake Park during the summer months. Winter time is more serene as the Deschutes River slows and the park has dustings of snow. If you require a very quiet getaway, please ask us for other options. The 473 is a wonderful study in 'tiny living'. At about 400sqft, it has everything you need and nothing you don't! Updated from top to bottom with fun and creative use of spaces, you'll love this home. The 473 features a pillowtop queen bed with fresh and clean linens. The sleeping corner is on the outside corner of the apartment and does not have any shared walls. Snuggle up in the love seat and enjoy the infra-red fireplace, HD SmartTV, BluRay and free wifi access, of course. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils for both the cook and the baker. We always supply basic oils and spices for your use too. Cold water filtration at the kitchen sink will keep you hydrated for your surf, swim or ski! There is a cute-as-a-button eating nook in this home for your meals and coffee. The bathroom is updated and you'll find a tub and shower stocked with earth friendly soaps and shampoos. No laundry facilities here but there is laundry nearby in downtown if you need them. Don't miss the outside bistro table and adirondack chairs for enjoying our sunny afternoons!
