The Drake Park Cottages are a historic 1930 fourplex that has been lovingly restored. Modern comforts and vintage charms welcome you to these wonderful apartments in a premiere downtown Bend location. The 309 is a wonderful two bedroom apartment in the heart of Bend. This home has a 30 day minimum stay. At about 700sqft, this sweet and historic apartment has everything you need. The living space and bedrooms feel larger than they are. Four people can live here quite comfortably. Updated from top to bottom with fun and creative details, you'll love this home. The 309 features 2 comfortable queen beds with fresh and clean linens. The larger, back bedroom is on the outside wall of the apartment and does not have shared walls with the other units. The front bedroom shares a wall with the kitchen and bath of the adjacent apartment. Snuggle up in the couch or loveseat and enjoy the infra-red fireplace, HD SmartTV, BluRay and free wifi access, of course. There is also a super efficient wall mounted heat pump for more heat in the winter and A/C in the summer. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils for both the cook and the baker. We always supply basic oils and spices for your use too. Cold water filtration at the kitchen sink will keep you hydrated for your surf, swim or ski! The dining room seats 4 easily and you'll find all the expected appliances (oven, stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster) plus more. The bathroom is updated and you'll find a tub and shower stocked with earth friendly soaps and shampoos. No laundry facilities here but there is laundry mat as and a laundry service nearby if you need them. Don't miss the outside dining table and your own dedicated BBQ chairs for enjoying our pleasant afternoons! This is a quintessential Bend location! Located 1 block from the Galveston Bridge and the Galveston shops just beyond, this is definitely a walkable location. Downtown is about a 10 minute stroll. This location earns a Walk Score® of 86 and we have a locked gear shed (shared with all fourplex guests) for your bike/skis/etc if you'd like to bring toys. This is a vibrant and bustling location, especially in the summer. The Mirror Pond float tube take out is just across the street in Drake Park. Various festivals and events visit Drake Park during the summer months. Winter time is more serene as the Deschutes River slows and the park has dustings of snow.
