Positive: A lovely family friendly stay! We brought our 2 and 5 year old along and they had a ball sharing a bedroom, picking blackberries from the bushes to have with their ice cream and splashing each other in the hot tub! We loved listening to the animals close by, the girls found the goats so funny. The mountain view from the hot tub area was idyllic and it was the perfect place to recharge after a long day traipsing around Tollymore. We also ordered the best pizza of our lives to date?! I wish we could remember the name of the take away! Mum and Dad enjoyed a few glasses of wine outside when the girls were asleep. Wonderful weather, lovely spot and thank goodness for the toothbrush sets as we'd totally forgotten!! Thank you for a lovely stay.
Negative: Hot Tub temperature was tricky to get right and there was no thermometer - the girls roasted their little legs when they first hopped in! But the owner was very helpful on the phone and it wasn't long before we got the temperature right. For us, we found the living room difficult to use once the girls had gone to bed because of the proximity to their bedroom and they're light sleepers, but thankfully we were able to sit outside during our stay instead :)
