Positive: Equator Retreat Hotel is in a fantastic location just a 2 minute walk to the shore where you can catch stunning sunrises every morning. The room was decent, with a nice firm mattress that made for a good night’s sleep. Overall, a simple and relaxing stay in a beautiful spot.
Negative: The staff didn’t speak much English, but they were always friendly and tried their best to help. Breakfast could definitely use more variety, especially for anyone with dietary restrictions being dairy-free was a bit tricky. One odd thing was the common area right outside the room, but luckily the place wasn’t busy, so it stayed quiet and peaceful the whole time
